Textbook:

  1. Calculus: Early Transcendentals (9th) by Stewart. Older versions are fine. Or try this online textbook.
  2. UCSB Math 6A/6B, Vector Calculus, by Lovric, Anton, Kreyszig. Specially prepared for UCSB by Wiley, Edition S13, ISBN:9781118610886. It is available in library in reserves.

Course Mechanics:

  • Lectures: TuTh  11:00-12:15 . 
  • Textbook: You are expected to read throughout every covered chapter in the textbooks.
  • Webwork : To be posted after each lecture, and due the next lecture day (11pm). 
  • Discussion: one per week. 
  • Exam: There are two midterms (Th 04/24+Th 05/22) and one final (06/11 12:00-2:00pm).
