In this course, you will be introduced to the fundamentals of scenic design for the theatre and dance. You'll be taught a series of
approaches to formulate and communicate designs to others.

Inspired by texts, music, and visual research you will create designs that express ideas and aesthetics choices while fulfilling the practical necessities of the performer onstage.

Through hands-on projects and class activities you will create scenic designs for theatre in 2D media and 3D scale models.
