Linguistics 3B offers specialized reading and writing instruction for multilingual students. The course focuses on critical approaches to reading, practicing writing in a variety of academic styles, and developing grammatical and lexical resources appropriate to a university setting. Ling 3B is offered for a letter grade only and offers four units of credit toward degree. Students who pass with a C (72.5%) or better are eligible to enroll in Ling 3C.
